Att plocka jordgubbar som fått mogna riktigt innan de plockas är en upplevelse!
We have chosen to introduce new measures for the self-pick to create order and increase safety for everyone – both staff and customers.
▪️Entry Fee for Self-Pick 🍓
New this season is that we will charge an entry fee for all visitors to the self-pick fields. This means that you pay a fee which will then be deducted from the total when you pay for the strawberries you’ve picked.
Entry prices:
Ages 13 and up: 80 SEK/person
Pensioners (65+): 40 SEK/person
(The person must present a valid ID to confirm age.)
Ages 3–12: 25 SEK/person
Example:
1 adult and 2 children pay 80 + 25 + 25 (130 SEK) in entry fees.
If the price per kilo is 100 SEK/kg and they have picked 1 kg when they come to the register, no money is refunded.
However, if they have picked 3 kg, they pay 170 SEK at the register (300 SEK total - 130 SEK entry fee already paid).
The entry fee for self-pick will apply on evenings, weekends, and days when we expect high visitor traffic.
We will not charge an entry fee on rainy days or days when the berry supply is limited.
▪️Rules for Self-Picking
From the parking area, you’ll first come to the "weigh-in booth" where you can weigh your own containers (if you've brought any) and pay the entry fee (see info above).
You’ll receive information about where picking is taking place that day and will be guided out to the field by a staff member, who will assign you a specific row to pick from.
Please pick only in the row you are assigned, look carefully along the row for 🍓, pick all ripe strawberries (big and small), and feel free to remove any bad berries and place them in the walkway.
When you’re done picking, inform a staff member where in the row you stopped.
You may taste one or two berries while picking, but not eat freely. This is a self-pick farm where you pick strawberries to take home – not a picnic spot where you sit and eat berries in the field.
Please avoid stepping into the strawberry rows – the plants are delicate. Stay in the row assigned to you by the field staff. Children are welcome but must also stay within your assigned row – the field is not a playground.
Dogs are not allowed in the strawberry fields for hygiene reasons.
Customers who do not follow the rules – even after reminders from staff – will be asked to leave the self-pick area.
Please dress according to the weather – boots are often a good idea, as the fields can be damp. Even if the sun is shining and it looks dry, the fields may have been recently watered.
You’re welcome to bring your own containers for picking. If you're planning to use the strawberries for decoration, wide and shallow containers are best, as the berries are sensitive to pressure.
15-liter boxes and smaller packaging can be purchased at the checkout at cost price.
Thank you in advance!
